This week’s viral goes to Coca-Cola, who urge viewers to “look at the world a little differently” by featuring footage from security cameras capturing random acts of kindness, heroism and a whole bunch of sheer niceness.

According to a representative from Coca-Cola Latin America, this new spot is meant to elicit those warm, fuzzy feelings – presumably in an attempt to evoke some form of subconscious association with feeling happy and Coca-Cola.

It features clips from around the world of people kissing, dancing, helping the homeless, pushing a car off a train track moments before getting hit (yep that’s in there) and, of course, two people sharing a Coke.

Since it was uploaded to Youtube on Monday, the ad has been viewed over 2 million times with 164,000 Facebook shares across the globe. While it’s generally been well received – not everyone’s a fan:

“I thought this video was about how good the world is … until I realize [it's] just Coca Cola using viral videos to market their company and make more money,” YouTube user eriky326

And some viewers just aren’t going to be swayed by the viral…
